babysitting went fine... the 10-year old lost 2 teeth, which proved to be the most eventful thing that happened... but we had a ton of fun... it felt great - the whole babysitting thing... i was a nanny for a couple of years in college (not a live-in nanny, but i kept 4 kids 4 afternoons a week)... i got so tired of it... i was bored with keeping kids... it's been a while since i got to babysit and friday night was just fun... we ordered pizzas, had ice cream and jelly beans with whipped cream on top, ate milk duds and watched dennis the menace... good times...
last night i went to see finding neverland. i thought i'd like it and i did. i was really impressed with the story... (not impressed that it was exceptional - but impressed - as in - it made an impression on me...) i was intrigued by the creation process of j.m. barrie's story... i like that i got to see that process, or an interpretation of the process... it was inspiring for me, creatively... there are scenes that stick out in my mind, but i don't know anyone else who's seen it, so i don't know that it would make sense... but there are these great images... meaningful dialogue... and magic involved... a great combination... i have never really been a huge fan of johnny depp, but last night gave him a much better chance of being on the list... we'll see how i feel post-charlie and the chocolate factory...
anyway - if you've seen it, comment - i want to know if i'm the only one who has seen it, and if my observations are accurate...

one of my top 15 movies...I loved it...probably especially because it's got "rite of passage" all over it and that was very fresh in my mind...
i really did like it, too... here are three of the most memorable scenes to me - that resonate with me... 1) where he gives the journal to peter and says that every writer needs a leather-bound journal and a title... and the stuff that follows... 2) where peter starts ripping the pages out of it... 3) where George "grows up"
yes, i definitely loved this movie - because of creativity and imagination and childhood mixed with adulthood and the fine line between the two...
since you mentioned it - what are the top 15?
